Back-up Files and Folders

Before taking a back-up of files and folders, check the total size of the folder [Install Path] to determine how much space is available to back-up the folders.  To create space for the back-up file, users can remove older IRC logs from [Install Path > Core > logs(and other log directories) before upgrade.

Take a back-up of the following:

• The IRC database along with the partition files (all files beginning with BR_).
• IRC application folders from the installation path.
• Export the complete registry on the application server
• Back up the report server for report subscriptions
