As a .NET solution, temporary files are cached in the Microsoft.NET system folder and these files are not removed while uninstalling IRC. If IRC is reinstalled on a machine, be sure to clear the .NET cache before attempting to login. By default, the cache is located in %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\ Framework64\ v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files, where %WINDIR% is the installation folder for Windows 2008. Note: The version of the framework may vary.
