Switching connectors
This section describes the process of switching from one SAP connector to another.
- From [InstallPath]\TMonitor\bin, double click PortableDataExtractorSwitchSAPConnector.exe. The screen displays the SAP connector already installed.

From the Select Connector Type drop-down
list, select a connector:
- SAP .Net Connector
3.0.22 - If you select the SAP .Net Connector 3.0.22 and you
have a 32-bit setup, continue to step 5. However, if you have a 64-bit setup,
the screen displays the files required for the SAP .Net Connector 3.0.22. Note: For the latest SAP .Net Connector version supported, see the Infor Risk & Compliance Planning & Deployment Guide.
Click Browse and provide the path for the folder containing the required files. If all the files are available in the given folder, a check mark is displayed against the file names. Continue to step 5.
- SAP Java
Connector – When you select the Java connector option from the
drop-down list, the screen displays the files required for the Java
Connector.
Click Browse and provide the path for the folder containing the required files. If all the files are available in the given folder, a check mark is displayed against the file names
- SAP .Net Connector
3.0.22 - If you select the SAP .Net Connector 3.0.22 and you
have a 32-bit setup, continue to step 5. However, if you have a 64-bit setup,
the screen displays the files required for the SAP .Net Connector 3.0.22.
- Ensure that there are no long running tasks such as an extraction in progress, as switching the utility restarts the IRC PDE Java Connector Service.
- Click Apply Changes. A confirmation message is displayed.

Yes to continue. The Status
bar and window displays the progress of the switching activity as shown in the
image below:
Once the connector is switched, the screen displays a message asking whether you would like to test the newly installed SAP connector by selecting a connection to test it on.
