What is IRC Portable Data Extractor
The IRC Portable Data Extractor (PDE) is used to extract data remotely and is designed to work with the IRC core modules.
IRC PDE can be installed on any computer connected to an ERP system. Data extracted from the ERP application is collected in several output files. The extracted data can then be imported into IRC and used as an extraction source by the adapter.
With this version, IRC Portable Data Extractor has the functionality to extract data from CSV or Excel files generated from the legacy applications. IRC PDE can be used in situations where the IRC Adapter is not directly connected to the ERP system.
This functionality converts user supplied CSV or Excel files into BIF XML files. You can configure the mapping of worksheets and columns in the CSV or Excel files to the BIF XML file. The extracted data is encrypted into .bez , .zip, and .beu files. The extracted data can then be imported into IRC and can be used as an extraction source by the IRC Adapter.
