Procedure for script-based extraction

To perform codeless extraction for the Authorizations Insight for Oracle, follow the steps given below.

Note: If you do not want data from certain tables to be extracted, follow the steps in the section Excluding tables in script-based extraction.

Codeless extraction from Oracle is implemented in two parts:

Step 1: The first script (ExtractORCLAI.cmd) will extract data from the Oracle backend database and output it to a specified output folder. This script can be executed on any machine which has Oracle SQL Plus installed.
Step 2: Import the .xml output file into IRC by creating an offline connection.
