Procedure for script-based extraction
All Configuration Insights for Oracle follow the same procedure for script-based extraction. The following is an example for the Oracle Procure to Pay Insight. To perform codeless extraction for any of the Configuration Insights for Oracle, follow the steps given below and use the script for the specific Insight as listed in the section Codeless extraction script files for Oracle Configuration Insights

Script-based extraction from Oracle is implemented in two steps.

Step 1 is to extract data from the Oracle
database: The script ExtractORCLP2PPCI.cmd extracts data from Oracle backend
database and output it to a specified output folder. This script can be
executed on any machine which has Oracle SQL Plus installed.
- For Oracle 12.0, run the script ExtractORCLP2PPCI_12-1.cmd.
- Step 2 is to import the xml file into IRC: Import the .xml output file into IRC by creating an offline connection.
