Configure additional user attributes

Additional user attributes provide additional information about users. Access Manager for Oracle supports these additional user attributes:

  • Password Expiration
  • Duration
  • Email
  • Fax Number

These are in addition to user details such as Valid From and Valid Through. Additional user attributes are supported for the following request types:

  • Responsibility Assignment Management
  • User Creation
  • User De-Provisioning
  • User Re-Provisioning

The xml file AdditionalUserAttributes_Orcl.xml can be used to configure these settings for additional user attributes. These changes are applicable to the above request types.

  • Enable an attribute to participate in a request
  • Define an attribute to be mandatory or optional
  • Enable auto suggest control and browse window for each attribute
  • Set permissible values list for the attribute, a connection or both
