Configuration

Create a Connection in Toad.

1. Navigate to Session > New Connection from the menu.
2. Select the Direct tab and enter these details:
   • User and password
   • Host is the database server name
   • Port
   • Service Name
3. Click the Connect button to connect to the database.
   Note:  Ensure that the correct Oracle client is installed.
4. To Open the Editor Window, navigate to the Database > Click on Editor.
