What is BizRights Interchange Format
IRC supports an additional way to extract offline data - from BizRights Interchange Format (BIF). BizRights Interchange Format (BIF) represents a ZIP file consisting of XML files containing data extracted from the SAP System or non-SAP applications.
This interface document explains the process to generate the BizRights Interchange Format (BIF) XML files from non-SAP applications. The current version of BizRights Interchange Format (BIF) XML only supports security model (Authorization Insight) data for IRC.
Extraction in IRC is the process of acquiring information from the ERP applications. The Windows scheduler on the IRC Services server controls the frequency at which extraction is performed. Extraction collects application security related information about users, roles, authorizations, and role assignments into IRC Services in the IRC generic format.
Once you have created the XML files and populated it with data from the ERP application, the data present in these files must be made available in IRC for analysis and reports. This figure describes the place of integration of these XML files and the process of extracting data from these files into IRC.
