Adding custom reports for Insights

To add a custom report for Insights:

  1. Execute the utility from [Install Path]\Core\bin.
  2. Click the Add Report link on the left panel of the screen. The system displays the Add Reports to Insights tab.
  3. Select the Insight to upload custom reports. All the Insights installed and activated in your IRC Application server are available for selection.
  4. Select the file you want to upload in the field Select rdl or .zip File folder. Click Browse to search for the file. This RDL file must be specific to the Insight selected and must be editable.
  5. Click Browse to select the SQL file in the Select Stored Procedure Script File field. The SQL file must contain the scripts to create the database objects required by the RDL files. If you upload a report without an SQL file, the utility displays a warning message.
  6. Select Yes to upload the report. However, if the report is dependent on the script file, it may not run.
  7. Click Add to publish the custom report. A confirmation message is displayed.
  8. Turn on the Anonymous Access on the Report and Report Server virtual directories in IIS.
