Rules

IRC rules are a powerful and flexible strategy to monitor critical business scenarios. A rule contains one or more conditions to identify risks in a business process. Data extracted from the ERP tables is analyzed against these rules. If the extracted data satisfies the conditions of a rule, it is termed a violation. IRC reports these violations and allows further corrective action.

The Rules page displays all the rules contained in the selected Rule Book and details of these rules such as the rule control number, the rule name, description, last updated date, the rule creation date, the rule expiry date, the rule priority, and the keywords associated with the rule.

The Last Updated column displays the time when the rule was last updated. This time is according to the local time defined on the Preferences page.

Note: If any rule is violated, an entry is made in the log file specified in the Violation Log File field on the Configuration page.
