Creating an ERP specific user request

A ION- User Creation request enables you to create new user accounts in your system. You can create only one user account through one request. Once a new user account is created, the new user password is sent to one of the following IRC accounts, depending on the settings defined on the Configuration page.

  • The new user account
  • The requestor of the new user account
Note: The new user account password can be generated based on the global user creation settings while configuring User Creation Options on the Access Management section on the Configuration page. If the new user's e-mail is provided during request creation, the account password is sent by e-mail to the new user.

To create ERP specific User Creation Request perform the following actions:

  1. Provide details in the following panels:
    • General Information: Use this panel to provide the following general information about the request:
      • Request Name
      • Request Priority
      • Connection
      • New User ID
      • Last Name
      • First Name
      • Approval Manager
      • Assign Roles as Another User
    • New Roles to be Assigned to the User

      This panel enables you to assign new roles to the selected user. If you selected an existing user in the Assign Roles as Another User field, all roles assigned to this user are also listed here.

      Add New Roles

      To select a role to be assigned to this new user, type in a part of the role name. All role from the selected connection and matching your search criteria are displayed. Select the required role name. Alternatively, click the Browse icon and select the required role and click OK. The selected role is displayed below and are identified with an icon.

  2. Click Send.
    The request is displayed on the Requests home page. Click on the request link to drill down to view the details and take further action.
