Settings by the administrator for alternate approver

An Administrator can set the out of office status and designate an alternate approver for any user through the Users page as follows:

  1. Select Settings > Preferences. The Preferences page is displayed.
  2. Click the Out of Office link.
    The Out of Office Settings page is displayed.
  3. Select the out of office option under Current Status.
  4. In the Alternate Approver field click Browse to open the Browse Users page with a list of available users. Select the user who will function as alternate approver.
  5. Click the name of the user selected, it will appear in the Alternate Approver field.
  6. Click Save to save the changes.
