Scheduling an extraction
After creating an online or an offline connection for an selected ERP application, you can schedule data extraction.
Create a schedule for extraction as follows:
- Select Manage > Schedules > New button, select Extraction from the drop down.

Provide details on the General Information, Scope, and Schedule
panels as described below:
- General Information
- Provide a task name to identify the extraction schedule on the Tasks and the Schedules page.
- Provide a description for this task.
- Scope
- Select a connection from the Connections drop-down list. If connections are secured, signed-in users can view only those connections that they have access to.
- Select the online extraction button to extract data directly from the source application or the ERP system.
- From the Insight
drop-down list, select the required Insight for data extraction. The Insights
displayed in this list depend on the connections selected in the Connections
drop-down list.
Note: If you select Process Insight from the Insight drop-down list, select the Application name to extract data from.
- Click the Browse button in the Select Objects field to select specific objects for extraction. By default, all objects are selected for the selected Insight.
- Scope the extraction by modifying the default filters. This field is displayed only if you select an SAP connection for the extraction and the extraction type selected is Online extraction.
- To extract data for Configuration Insight for SAP, select the Use two-step extraction process check box. For more details on two-step extraction, see the Infor Risk & Compliance Online Help shipped with the product.
- Select the Extraction type. The fields displayed in this panel depend on the Insight selected.
- Schedule
- Click the Calendar icon to select the Start Date and click the Clock icon to select Start Time to start the extraction schedule.
- From the
Recurrence
drop-down list, select one of the extraction recurrence options.
- If you select Never, the task will not recur.
- If you select any of the options such as Daily, Weekly, or Monthly, then you need to provide the specific day, or the week day or the specific days of the month respectively for the extraction to recur. Also set the end date of the extraction on the Set End Date panel.

Click Save and Close.
The date and time selected on this page is according to the time zone defined on the Preferences page.
After the data is successfully extracted from the ERP system, you can perform an analysis to analyze the extracted data for any existing violations or exceptions.
