Reviewing Analysis Results

You can review violations for the User Access > Authorizations Insight using reports or using the violation browser. The Violations Browser is the primary source for navigating and remediating violations generated during the User Access analyses. You can even use the various violations reports to review and mitigate violations.

Both the browser and the reports display violations for the rulebooks and the rules that are owned by you (the signed-in user).

Typically, violations are displayed by user. This means that violations are displayed as a list of user IDs that have violated a particular rule. Clicking into a specific user ID gives you the reason for the violation. The details shown on the Reasons tab are the specific permissions that a user has that match the rule conditions. For a violation to occur, all levels of ERP security hierarchy defined in the rule must match with the user. If security details are called out in the rule, then not only the role, but the specific underlying permissions must also match.
