Primary Violating Objects

The Object Details page provides access to all the information that you need to take action on violations. Information is provided through the various tabs making it easy to prioritize and understand the violations around an object. A primary violating object is authorized to perform certain actions that violate a rule.

Such violating objects must be excluded from the rule as well as from the analysis of that rule so that their names do not appear on the violations list. The organization must also determine the actions to be taken to mitigate the associated risks.

By associating compensating controls or documentation or both with the violation, you can mitigate these risks. This can be done once the violating objects have been marked for exclusion in the rules.
