Connections

To extract data from your ERP you must first set up a connection between your IRC application and the ERP application from data must be retrieved .

There are two types of connections:

• Online connection: When IRC is directly connected to the ERP server, you can create an online connection to extract data.
• Offline connection: If IRC is not directly connected to the ERP server, data extraction must be performed remotely through the Portable Data Extractor (PDE) or by using script-based codeless extraction. In such cases, this offline connection must to be imported into IRC so that the extracted data can be uploaded into IRC for analysis.
