User authentication
User authentication is required when a user first connects to the IRC server or after a session has timed out. Users are validated using either of two authentication schemes:
- Microsoft Active Directory (AD): Allows you to leverage your existing AD account for IRC authentication.
- IRC Application
Security(IRCAS): A security provider built-in IRC. User accounts are specific
to IRC, and a screen is provided to enter your user name and password when you
access the application using Infor OS.
Note: To use ADFS authentication, you must select IRCAS authentication in the Select Authentication Scheme field when installing IRC.
