Subscribing to reports

Reports are the windows into IRC. Reports deliver information about violations based on your defined business controls through users and the capabilities within your monitored application and provide you with detailed information about the root cause of each issue.

To generate a report, go to Manage > Report Subscriptions. The Reports page displays the list of scheduled reports. You can schedule a new report by selecting New or share a report with another user.

The Reports tab contains the list of IRC reports, sorted by Insight.

Reports can be broadly classified into the following categories:

  • Insight reports: Display violations generated during Authorizations Insights analysis.
  • IRC reports: Display information such as audit logs, IRC users, owners of rules, rule books, parameter lists and connections.
  • General reports: Display information about duplicate objects and extracted data summaries pertaining to the Insights installed. This category also displays the ERP specific reports.
  • Process exception reports: Display exceptions generated during transaction monitoring analyses executed against business processes. this category also displays the Legacy Business Process Exceptions for the Configuration Insights and the Business Process baseline exceptions.

Before starting with the different categories of reports available, take some time to understand the use of filters to define the report. Click a report title in any category to view a page with number of parameters. The parameters displayed vary based upon the report selected.

Using parameters, you can control the amount of information to be displayed in the report. In addition, these parameters can be used to generate more targeted results. This helps you to narrow your report definition to display information specific to your interest.

After selecting your report parameters, you can run the report immediately or schedule the report to run at a specific time or date.

When generating a report with a large volume of data, as for example, a violations report, it is easier to generate the report once and email the report to the group of persons who require , rather than have each person generate the report individually. Simply select the users who can view the report. The report is emailed to the selected users as soon as generated.

Note: Selecting Store in my Infor Risk & Compliance Inbox will ensure that a copy of the report is sent to the The Inbox of the user generating the report
