Generating reports

IRC enables you to preview reports on demand or schedule them at different time intervals.

The Manage > Report Subscriptions menu displays the different categories of IRC reports.

To schedule a report from the Scheduled Reports tab:

  1. Click New.
  2. In the New Scheduled Report page, specify the required report name or select the required report from the drop-down field.
  3. In the selected report page, the Report Name field displays the default report name appended with the date and time of the subscription. The Description fields displays the default report description. You can edit them, if required.
  4. From the Keywords field, select the keywords to be associated with the report.
  5. On the Filters panel, select the filters to scope the information to be displayed in the report. Filters vary depending on the report type.
  6. The Schedule Report panel provides different options for report generation. Based on whether you want to run the report at a specific time, or for a specific extraction, or analysis, select any of these options:
    Option Description
    Analysis Based: This option is enabled if scheduled analyses exist in your system. Select this option to schedule the report for a specific analysis. From the Analysis field, select an analysis to generate a report.
    Extraction Based This option is enabled if scheduled extractions exist in your system. Select this option to schedule the report for a specific extraction. From the Extraction field, select an extraction to generate a report.
    Time Based Select this option to schedule a report on a specific date and time.
  7. Select the Store in my Infor Risk & Compliance Inbox check box to save a copy of the report in your inbox.
  8. Select the Send by Email check box to send a copy of the report by e-mail. In the Infor Risk & Compliance Users field displayed, select the users to whom a copy of the report is to be sent. Similarly, in the Other Users field, specify the valid e-mail IDs of users, other than the IRC users, and click the add icon icon.
  9. From the Output Format field, select one of these formats in which the report is to be generated:
    Option Description
    Preview To preview the report before creating a schedule.
    Acrobat (PDF) file The report is generated in PDF.
    CSV with report format The report is generated in CSV with report format.
    CSV without report format The report is generated in CSV without report format.
    Excel The report is generated in Excel.
    TIFF file The report is generated in TIFF file.
    Web Archive The report is generated in Web Archive.
    Word The report is generated in word.
    XML file with report data The report is generated in XML file with report data.
  10. Click the notify active icon icon to enable notifications. Refer to the Infor Risk & Compliance Online help for details.
  11. Click the save icon icon to save and close the report schedule or click the run on demand icon icon to preview the report.
