Analysis settings for authorizations insights

To limit the number of violations generated in a single analysis to a number that can be managed during mitigation go to Settings > Configuration > Infor Risk & Compliance System > Analysis Settings for Authorizations Insights. For users with large data volumes, this significantly reduce the time required for an analysis.

The role and violation cap values are set in multiples of 1000. For example, if 100000 is the value set, this means no more than 100,000,000 role or user violations can be generated during an analysis. The rule engine stops evaluating the rules, after this limit is reached.

  • Role violation cap: Select the maximum number of role violations that must be generated during an analysis.
  • User violation cap: Select the maximum number of user violations that must be generated during an analysis.

The default value of 0 implies that there is no limit, and all violations are written during an analysis.

  • Rule chunk size: Select the number of rules to be used for analysis. For example, if you select 30 rules while scheduling an analysis and the rule chunk size specified here is 10, data is analyzed three times using 10 rules at a time. The default value is 20.
Note: If the violation cap is checked, a notification is displayed on the respective reports.

The report has results in more violations than can be processed, as configured. The configured limit is currently set to X violations. Filter the results of the report further to ensure that the information is complete for the selected set of data.

The Violations browser does not display any such notification.
