Archives

Set up a cleanup schedule so that analyses and logs that are no longer actively used, can be deleted, or moved to a separate data storage device, for long term retention.

On Settings menu, go to Configuration > Archive to set your data management choice and schedule cleanup.

Deleting and archiving analyses

The application provides three options for analysis archival; retain all the data, delete old data, or archive. This data cleanup process runs weekly. You can set up a schedule and choose the day and time to run the schedule.

  • Retain all analyses

    This is the default setting.

    If you select this option, the analyses can never be removed from the system. The frequency of the analyses and the amount of space available in your system must be configured accordingly.

  • Delete analyses older than <n> days or <n> analyses on cleanup

    Analyses can be deleted based on age, or the number of analyses existing in the system. For example- If you set this option, analyses older than 7 days or 10 analyses on cleanup;

    Analysis #9 that is 8 days old is deleted.

    Analysis #11 that is 5 days old is deleted.

  • Archive & Delete analyses older than <7> days or <90> analyses on clean up

    If you select this option, your analyses is first archived to a location of your choice, and later deleted from the IRC application. Analyses are archived and deleted based on age or by the number of analyses existing in the system.
