Timeout settings
To change the default timeout values for various settings across IRC, go to
tab. Timeout values are specified in minutes and can be configured as required. These are the possible settings:
- Session timeout value for UI in Minutes: Use this setting to determine how long the user interface can remain untouched without being logged out. If you change this value you must also change the IIS settings. See Online Help.
- Cookie timeout value for UI in Minutes: Cookie timeout value sets the time, for which the authentication cookie is valid. Effectively, after the specified time, the cookie expires. The user can no longer be authenticated and is redirected to the Login page.
- Timeout value for backend (SAP Authorizations Insight) in Minutes: Timeout value for backend sets the time period, in which the web service SAP Authorizations Insight is expected to respond with the necessary data or output. After the specified time, the web service expires and the page is rendered accordingly.
- Timeout value for backend (other Insights) in Minutes: Timeout value for backend sets the time period, in which the web service for authorizations insights (other than SAP Authorizations Insight) is expected to respond with the necessary data / output. After the specified time, the web service expires and the page is rendered accordingly.
- Timeout value for Reports in Minutes: This setting determines how long an on-demand report can take to run and generates the results, before the time out.
