Mitigation

Use this panel for the following:

• To assign compensating controls to Exclusions when mitigating violations from the Violation Browser. To do so, select the Make Compensating Controls mandatory for mitigation check box . By default, this is mandatory.
• To enable users to view only the compensating controls that are attached to the violated rule while mitigating violations. To do so, select theFilter Compensating Control by Rule check box .
