FIPS Compliance

The Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Publication 140-2, is a U.S. government computer security standard used to accredit cryptographic modules.

Note:

FIPS is an optional feature and is applicable only for those customers who have FIPS enabled in their environment.
To enable FIPS from the Environment Manager Utility, you must disable windows level FIPS.
The Certification Manager panel and the relevant information displays only if Certification Manager is installed on the server.
To add or update any product licenses, you must convert FIPS enabled system to Legacy.
For installing additional Insights, you must convert FIPS enabled system to Legacy.
Before enabling FIPS, upgraded customers must provide valid e-mail ids for the IRC and the CM users.
