Maintaining the Extended User ACL on the SAP Application Server

Use

If users are to log on to the ABAP Engine using the secured JCo/Nco connection, then you must also maintain an entry in the extended user ACL (table USRACLEXT).

Procedure

  1. Maintain the extended user ACL (table USRACLEXT). For example, use the table maintenance transaction SM30. Note the following:
    • Enter an asterisk (*) as a wildcard in the User field.
    • Use the sequence number if you have multiple entries with the same user.
    • Enter the IRC server’s SNC name in the SNC name field.
    • Make sure you enter the server’s SNC name and not the Distinguished Name. The server’s SNC name is the Distinguished Name prefixed with p:
  2. Confirm the warning.
  3. Save the data.
