How to configure a browser to use Windows Authentication

You can configure any supported browser to use windows authentication .

  • Internet Explorer
    1. In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
    2. Click the Advanced tab.
    3. Under Security, click to select Enable Integrated Windows Authentication - ON (requires restart), and then click OK.
  • Google Chrome
    1. Click the Chrome Wrench menu(Alt + F).
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Under Network option - click Change proxy settings.
    4. Click the Advance Tab.
    5. Under Security, click to select Enable Integrated Windows Authentication-ON (requires restart), and then click OK.
  • Safari
    1. Go to Menu
    2. Click Edit -> Preferences from the drop-down menu.
    3. Select the Advanced tab and then click the Change Settings button.
    4. Click the Advance tab, Under Security, click to select Enable Integrated Windows Authentication -ON (requires restart), and then click OK.
