How to Change the Script Timeout Value

Open the Internet Information Services Manager as follows:

  1. On the Start menu, point to Programs Administrative Tools and click Internet Information Services Manager.
  2. Right click Default Web Site and select Properties.
  3. Click the Home Directory tab, and then click Configuration. This opens the Application Configuration screen.
  4. Click the Options tab.
  5. Set the ASP Script timeout setting to 300 seconds (default 90 seconds).
