The Execution Account

IRC uses Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SRS) to publish and deliver reports. The execution account is used for report subscriptions and requires permissions to access the IRC application server as the output is stored on the IRC server at a shared location. The domain account specified as the execution account must have ‘Full Control’ permission on report subscription share folder.

Set the execution account as follows:

  1. Go to Microsoft SQL ServerConfiguration ToolsReporting Services Configuration Manager.
  2. Select Execution Account.
  3. Select the Specify an execution account check box and provide the account details (domainname\username) and the password.
