Microsoft Active Directory (AD)

IRC is designed to integrate with Microsoft Active Directory allowing you to use your network login and password to log in to IRC. The IRC Authentication Manager, installed as part of the IRC Services setup, communicates with the directory to authenticate a user by retrieving user details from the AD server.

Note: To accelerate the user authentication process place IRC Services and the AD Server with all active directory users on the same LAN.
