Marking a user out of office

If users who are approvers are out of the office but have not updated their status, the Administrator can mark them out of office. If these users are approvers for a request, the Administrator can select an alternate approver in their place.

Mark a user out of office as follows

  1. On the User Management page, click the user name link. The page for that user is displayed.
  2. On the Out of Office Settings panel, mark the user out of office. The user is identified with the Out Of Office icon on the Security page.
  3. Select a user who will be the alternate approver.
  4. Click Save.
    Note: The Out of Office panel will be displayed only if Access Manager is installed on your server.
