Mitigation

Use this panel for the following:

• To make it mandatory to assign compensating controls to exclusions when mitigating violations from the Violation Browser by selecting the check box Make Compensating Controls mandatory for mitigation. By default, this is mandatory. Clear the check box if assigning compensating controls to exclusions should not be mandatory.
• To enable users to view only the compensating controls that are attached to the violated rule while mitigating violations, select the check box Filter Compensating Control by Rule.
