Reasons

This tab captures details of the exception that is being reviewed. The Reason Details panel displays the connection name through which the data was extracted for analysis and also displays all the relevant information that was designated as important while building the rules. The % Match column displays the % match for duplicates. For all the other rule types, this column remains blank. The % match column on panel tab is displayed in a descending order. These fields are known as reporting fields in Infor Risk & Compliance and are configurable on a rule by rule basis.

The reasons count displays the number of times the conditions in the rule were violated. For example, if a particular rule is looking for exceptions within a Purchase Order that occur at the line item level you could see several Reasons for an exception. Let's say the Purchase Order had 5 line items with values over $10,000. In a rule looking for high value purchase orders, this Purchase Order could have 5 reasons for creating an exception.

This tab also displays any reporting fields that are set through the rule builder. Reporting fields can help you better understand exceptions so that you can close them out quickly. Reporting fields are displayed for objects used while building the rule condition as well as other objects selected.
