Violation Report Filters

  • Analysis Name, Date and Time

    From this drop-down list, select the required analysis.  Violations recorded during this analysis are displayed in the report.

    Note: If your local time zone is selected on the Preferences page (General Panel-> User time zone), the time displayed here is your local time when the analysis was executed.
  • Connections

    By default, violations  are displayed for all connections owned by you (the signed-in user). To select specific connections:

    1. Clear the check box ALL.
    2. From the drop-down list, select the desired connection.
    3. Click the Add icon. Violations generated for data from the selected connection will be displayed.
  • Rule Book Status

    By default, all rule books are selected. To select rule books with specific status, clear the check box All and select the required status from the Rule Book Status drop-down list.

  • Rule Books

    By default, all rule books that have participated in the selected analysis are selected. To select specific rule books:

    1. Clear All selection.
    2. From the drop-down list select the desired rule book. Alternatively, click the Browse icon to browse and select the required rule books from the Browse Rule Books pop-up window.
    3. Click Ok.
  • Rules

    By default, all rules from the selected rule books are selected. To select specific rules:

    1. Clear All selection.
    2. From the drop-down list, select the desired rules. Alternatively, select the Browse icon and select the required rules from the Browse Rules pop-up window.
    3. Click OK.
  • Parameter Lists

    If the rules in the selected rule books use parameters in the rule conditions, you need to attach the parameter list containing the parameters.

    By default, all parameter lists are selected. To select specific parameter lists:

    1. Clear All selection.
    2. From the drop-down list, select the desired parameter lists. Alternatively, browse and select the required parameter lists.
    3. Click OK.
    Note: This filter is not displayed if the report is a user or role violations report for Authorization Insight for Lawson.
  • Rule Priority

    By default, violations are displayed for all rules irrespective of their priorities. To view violations for specific rule priorities:

    1. Clear the check box ALL.
    2. From the drop-down list, select the desired rule priorities.
    3. Click the Add icon. Violations generated for rules with the selected priorities will be displayed.
  • Exclusion Options

    This filter enables you to view violations for both excluded and not excluded objects. By default, violations for all objects are displayed.

    To view violations for specific objects, select the option excluded or not excluded.

  • Export Format

    From the Output Format drop-down list, select a format to generate the report.

    Note: To download a report in the web archive format, save the web archive file to your local machine before opening it. Unless you do this, images are not displayed on the report.

    After you a format, click the Run on demand icon.The system prompts you to save the report at a specified location.

    If you select Preview and then click the Run on demand icon, then you can view the report in a pop-up window.
