Build the rule condition

To build conditions for this rule:

  1. On the Select Objects tab, select Employee as the primary object.
  2. On the Build Conditions tab, add values and operators to build rule conditions. You can build your rule with just one group or multiple groups. A group is a set of conditions. Each group can have one or more conditions separated by an operator. Two or more groups are separated using the operator AND or OR.  During analysis, Infor Risk & Compliance evaluates all the conditions in the first group sequentially and then the conditions in the second group depending on the operator.
  3. From the Select Template drop-down list, select Math Function.
  4. Right click Sum of under Value Set 1.
  5. Select Replace with Math Function. All the available math functions are displayed.
  6. Select Date Difference of. The math function Day is displayed.
  7. Click Select Value and select Employee~Date Hired.
  8. Click Select Value again and select Employee~Creation Date.
  9. Right click Date Difference to add the Where clause.
  10. Select values and operators as listed in the table below:
    Condition Value Set 1 Operator Value Set 2
    Condition 1 Employee~Creation Date After
    • Employee~Date Hired
  11. Right click Select Operator to select Greater than or equal to.
  12. Left click Select value under Value Set 2. In the Literals & Dates & Logical tab, type 10 and add click OK.
    Note: For the rule engine to recognize the math rule during an analysis, you must provide a comparison operator in the Value Set 2.
