Build the rule condition

This rule enables you to identify users or roles assigned the sensitive pages selected in this rule condition. These pages are related to data management tools such as cube manager in PeopleSoft.

When an analysis is performed using this rule, users or roles assigned these pages are displayed as violations.

Select the following sensitive pages for this rule condition:

  • ANALYSIS_DB
  • CUBE_AGGREGATE
  • CUBE_BUILD_BIND
  • CUBE_DEF
  • CUBE_DEF_INPUTS
  • DIM_ROLLUP_INPUTS
  • DIMENSION
  • OLAP_ATTRIB_NAM
  • RUN_MAKE_ANL_DB

Build the rule condition under Group 1 as follows:

  1. From the drop-down list, select one of the following operators:
    • Any: If you select this operator, users or roles that are assigned one or more of the above pages are displayed as violations.
    • All: If you select this operator, users or roles that are assigned all the above pages are displayed as violations.

      For this rule, select Any.

  2. Click Add Page. The Browse Pages window that opens enables you to add the above pages from any one of the following tabs:
    • Quick Add : The Quick Add tab enables you to add the required sensitive pages either by typing them in or copying them from an Excel spreadsheet.

      Infor Risk & Compliance validates these pages before they are added to the rule condition. If any of the page names are invalid, they are highlighted in red and none of the specified pages are added to the rule condition. You must delete the invalid pages and add only the correct functions.

      Note: Objects specified in the Quick Add tab may be separated by a comma, newline character or a tab. If you prefer any other data separator, it can be configured through the RuleBuilderConfig.xml file. (Newline is a special character or sequence of characters signifying the end of a line of text).
    • Select Objects :The Select Objects tab enables you  to browse for and add the required sensitive pages.

      In the Select Pages autosuggest text box, type in part of the name and select the required page from the drop-down list. Alternatively, browse and select the sensitive pages listed above.

    • Copy Conditions : The Copy Condition tab enables you to copy the required conditions from an existing rule. If an existing rule contains all the above pages, they can be copied from that rule as follows:
      1. From the Select rule drop down list, select the required existing rule. All the conditions of the selected rule appear in the panel below.
      2. Select the check box next to the above sensitive pages.
  3. Click Add. The selected pages are added to the rule condition.
  4. Expand the page and select the required option from the with Display-Only Page drop down list:
    • Ignored: If you select this option, all users or roles having 'view only' access to that page will be ignored in the analysis and thus will not be displayed as violations.
    • Included: If you select this option, all users or roles having 'view only' access to that page will be included in the analysis and thus will be displayed as violations.
  5. Click Save.
