Build the rule condition

This rule enables you to identify users or roles assigned two or more conflicting pages defined in the rule condition. When an analysis is performed using this rule, users or roles that are assigned the FS_CF_VALUE_HOME page along with any of the following conflicting  pages are displayed as violations:

  • GL_EXCL_JRNL
  • JOURNAL_COPY_REQ
  • JOURNAL_ENTRY1:
  • LOAD_JRNL_PNL
  • SJE_BATCH_REQ
  • SJE_JRNL_INQ
  • SJE_STNDRD_JRNL

Build the rule condition as follows:

  1. On the Conditions tab, click Convert to Conflicts Rule. The Conflict With panel is displayed. This panel enables you to add  pages that conflict with the page to be added to Group 1.
  2. From the drop-down list below Group 1 and Group 2, select the required operator. Depending on the operator selected for Group 1 and Group 2, there may be the following scenarios:
    Group 1 Operator Group 2 Operator Violations Detected
    Any Any Users or roles that are assigned the pages selected in Group 1 and any of the pages selected in Group 2
    All All Users or roles that are assigned all the pages selected in Group 1 and all the pages selected in Group 2
    Any All Users or roles that are assigned any of the pages selected in Group 1 and all the pages selected in Group 2
    All Any Users or roles that are assigned all the pages selected in Group 1 and any of the pages selected in Group 2

    For this rule, select Any for both Group 1 and Group 2.

  3. Under Group 1, click Add Page. The Browse Pages window that opens enables you to add the required page from any one of the following tabs:
    • Quick Add : The Quick Add tab enables you to add multiple pages either by typing them in or copying them from an Excel spreadsheet.

      For this rule condition, type in the page FS_CF_VALUE_HOME.

      Infor Risk & Compliance validates the page before it is added to the rule condition. If  the page name is invalid, it is highlighted in red. You must delete the invalid function and add only the correct one.

    • Select Objects :The Select Objects tab enables you  to browse for and add the required pages.

      In the Select Pages autosuggest text box, type in part of the name and select the page FS_CF_VALUE_HOME from the drop-down list. Alternatively, browse and select this page.

    • Copy Conditions : The Copy Condition tab enables you to copy the required condition from an existing rule. If an existing rule contains all the page FS_CF_VALUE_HOMEas its rule condition, it can be copied from that rule as follows:
      1. From the Select rule drop down list, select the required existing rule. All the conditions of the selected rule appear in the panel below.
      2. Select the check box next to the page FS_CF_VALUE_HOME
  4. Click Add. The selected page is added to the rule condition.
  5. Click Add Page under Group 2 on the Conflicts With panel. Add the conflicting pages listed above as explained for Group 1.
  6. Select the required option from the with Display-Only Page drop-down list below the selected pages under Group 1 and under Group 2:
    • Ignored: If you select this option, all users or roles having 'view only' access to that page will be ignored in the analysis and thus will not be displayed as violations.
    • Included: If you select this option, all users or roles having 'view only' access to that page will be included in the analysis and thus will be displayed as violations.
  7. Click Save. The selected pages are added to their respective groups.
