Conflicts Rule

Conflict rules enable you to identify users or roles that are assigned two or more conflicting roles, permission lists, menus or pages in PeopleSoft.

  • Rule Type: Sensitive or Conflicts Rule
  • Object : Page
  • Build the rule condition

In this rule condition, authorized actions have not been added to the selected pages. However, you may add them as follows:

  1. Expand the selected page for which authorized actions are to be added.
  2. Click Add Authorized Action.
  3. In the pop-up window displayed, add the required authorized actions from the Select Objects tab as explained above.
    Note: 
    • If you select menu as the object type for a sensitive rule, add the required menus as explained above. To further scope down the data to be analyzed using this rule, you may add components, pages and authorized actions. Expand the  selected menu and click Add Component, Add Page and Add Authorized Action to add the respective objects.
    • If you select permission list or role as the object type for a sensitive rule, click Add Permission List or Add Role and build rule conditions as explained above.
