Parameter Lists tab

The Parameter Lists tab enables you to perform the following actions:

  • Search for a Parameter List
  • Create a new Parameter list
  • Add parameters to a Parameter List
    To add parameters to a parameter list:
    1. Click the name link of the parameter list to which parameters are to be added. The Parameters tab on the More Details panel displays the list of existing parameters contained in the selected parameter list.
    2. In the Add Parameters autosuggest text box, provide the name of the parameter to be added, or click the Browse icon to browse for parameters. Select the parameters required.
    3. You now need to give each parameter a value. To do this, click the parameter name link. The Add Values pop-up window is displayed.
    4. Click the Browse icon to select the required value from the existing values and click OK. Alternatively, specify a new value in the Add Text field and click the Add icon. The parameter values will be displayed on the panel.
    5. Click Save.
  • Edit a Parameter List

    To edit a parameter list, click the name link of the parameter list to be edited. The page for that parameter list is displayed. Make the required changes as explained in Create New Parameter List and click Save.

  • Delete a Parameter list

    To delete a parameter list, select the check box next to it and click the Delete icon.

  • Remove parameters from a Parameter List
    To remove parameters:
    1. Click the parameter list name link from which parameters are to be removed. The page for that parameter list is displayed.
    2. The Parameters tab on the More Details panel displays the list of parameters contained in the selected parameter list.
    3. Select the check box next to the parameters you want to remove.
    4. Click the Delete icon.
    5. Click Save.
  • Duplicate a Parameter List
    Duplicate parameter lists can be used for multiple sets of values and save you the trouble of having to recreate separate parameter lists from scratch. To duplicate a parameter list:
    1. Select the check box next to the parameter list to be duplicated.
    2. Click the More Actions icon.
    3. From the menu, click Duplicate. The parameter list will be displayed on the page with 'Copy-1' appended to it.
  • Export a Parameter List
    To export a parameter list:
    1. Select the check box next to the parameter list to be exported.
    2. Click the More Actions icon.
    3. Click Export.
    4. Provide a name for this task so that you can track it on the Import/Export page.
    5. Select whether only the selected parameter list is to be exported or all existing parameter lists.
    6. Specify whether the file should be exported in an XML or ZIP format.
    7. Click Export.
  • Import a Parameter List
    To import a parameter list:
    1. Select the check box next to the parameter list to be imported.
    2. Click the More Actions icon.
    3. From the menu, click Import.
    4. In the pop-up window, click Browse to import a parameter list in an XML or ZIP file format.
    5. Click the Upload icon to upload the file. The Import Parameter Lists pop-up window is displayed.
    6. Provide a name for the action to help you track this task on the Tasks page and the Import/Export page.
    7. Select the Import All Parameter Lists check box to import all the parameter lists contained in the imported file or select specific parameter lists from the imported file. The search filters on this panel enable you to search for specific parameter lists.
    8. Select one of the following Duplicate Parameter List options if a parameter list with the same name already exists in Infor Risk & Compliance.
      • Create Copy : Select this option if you wish to create a copy of the parameter list in Infor Risk & Compliance. The parameter list is displayed on the Parameter Lists home page with 'Copy-1' appended to it.
      • Keep Existing: Select this option if you want to retain the parameter list which is already existing in the application. The selected parameter list will not be imported but all additional parameters within that parameter list, if any, will be imported. For example, an existing parameter list in the application is PL1 with parameter P1. You now want to import another parameter list PL1 with parameters P1 and P2 by selecting the option Keep Existing. In this case, the existing PL1 and P1 will be retained as it is but P2 will get imported.
        Note: The Keep Existing option applies to parameters and the parameter lists.
      • Overwrite from Import file: Select this option if you want the existing parameter list to be overwritten with the selected parameter list in the imported file.
    9. Click Import.
  • Assign a keyword to a Parameter List
    Keywords can be associated with parameter lists. During analysis instead of browsing and selecting parameter lists you can select keywords. Assign keywords to parameter lists as follows:
    1. Select the check box next to the required parameter list.
    2. Click More Actions icon and then click the Assign Keyword to assign a keyword to the selected parameter list. A pop-up window displays a list of existing keywords. Assign the required keywords and click the Assign icon.
    Note: You can also associate keywords with parameter lists from the Keywords home page.
