User Attributes

To exclude by user attribute:

  1. From the drop-down list, select the attribute by which  to exclude users. For example, User Name and Email Address.
  2. Select a search pattern from the drop-down menu. For example, Equal To or Containing.
  3. In the free text box, enter the text you want to search for and click the Add icon . For example, if you want to exclude users from the Admin group, select Group as the attribute and enter Admin in the free text box. Alternatively, browse for the user attribute. The users with the selected attribute are displayed in the grid on the Bulk Exclusions page.
Note: Attributes of customized SAP users and blank user type fields that are extracted from the ERP system are displayed as 'Unknown User Types' in the Browse User Type pop-up window.
  4. Select the date on which this exclusion should expire or leave as Never Expires. To modify the expiry date, click Never Expires and select a date from the calendar and click OK. The expiry date can be modified at any time before excluding the object.
  5. To apply the set expiry date to all the objects in the grid, select the check box Apply to all.
Note: If you apply filters to further scope down the objects in the grid and select the check box Apply to all, the selected expiry date will be applied to all the objects that were displayed in the grid before the filters were applied.
  6. Click Exclude.
Note: In excluding users by user attribute, the users cannot be imported using the Import CSV file functionality.
