Information Collected through Log Files

The following types of information can be collected through log files:

  • Application Logs and Configuration Files: This check box is selected by default. Application logs and Configuration files are collected every time logs are collected. This setting is not configurable.

  • Registry Information: This information is specific to Infor Risk & Compliance installation such as the installation path, Insight version number, and the installation date of Infor Risk & Compliance Services and Insights.

  • Database Maintenance Information: This is information gathered from the SQL server, such as database maintenance plans, jobs or schedules, disk space allocation and database paths.

  • The user account accessing the SQL server requires certain privileges to collect this information. If the user has the sysadmin role, additional privileges are not necessary and the user does not require access to individual databases. If a user does not have the sysadmin role, that user must be assigned the dbowner role and must have access to the following databases:

    • Master
    • Tempdb
    • Msdb
  • Additional Information: This information is from the Infor Risk & Compliance tables in the IRC database such as the authentication scheme used, analysis summaries, connection information, lists of long running tasks, and the sequence of Infor Risk & Compliance installation with relevant details about Insights, service packs and hotfixes.
