External Data Source

This option enables you to upload data in the form of an XML file from external sources such as OFAC (The Office of Foreign Assets Control). In case of OFAC, the data uploaded may include the last name, type (individual or organization), and the list of addresses. This data can be used in rule conditions and is visible on the Exceptions Browser and in reports.

Currently, OFAC is the only external source supported for data upload.
  • Upload OFAC data to the Infor Risk & Compliance application server
    Provide the following details to :
    • Files to Upload

      Perform this step after selecting connection details and connections.

      In the Files to Upload field, click Browse and select the SDN.xml file to be uploaded

      Click the Remove icon to remove a selected file.

    • Connection details

      The Select Connection drop-down list will display only OFAC SDN connection. OFAC SDN data will be uploaded to this connection.

      Note: This connection will be available after you have either republished or installed the OFAC Insight. No other connection will be displayed in this list.

      To analyze OFAC data with Process Insight data , you must select the OFAC SDN connection along with the Process Insight connection, on the Schedule Analysis page.

    • Data Source

      From the Data Source drop-down list, select the required data source. Currently only OFAC is supported.

    After selecting the required connections and data source, click Upload. Data is uploaded to the Infor Risk & Compliance application server. A upload confirmation dialog box is displayed. The date and time displayed in this dialog box is according to the application server time zone.

    Note: Before clicking Upload, ensure that the file selected and the paths are displayed in the Files to Upload field.
