Scheduling an analysis

After successfully extracting data from the ERP application, you need to schedule an analysis to identify any exceptions or violations. Schedule an analysis as follows:
  1. Provide details on the General Information, Scope and Schedule panels as described below.
  2. Click the Pre-Analysis Check icon if you have attached parameter lists while scheduling the analysis. When you click this icon, Infor Risk & Compliance displays the Pre Analysis report which informs you whether the correct parameter list has been attached and whether it contains the required values.
  3. Click Save and Close. The analysis is scheduled. The status of this task can be viewed on the Tasks page and also on the Schedules page. The Analyses page displays all analyses currently in the system together with the related information such as the connection used and the number of violations identified.
Note: Click Enable Notification to notify users via email about the events relevant to this task. On the Add Notification page displayed, if you subscribe to the event 'Schedule Analyses', then post-analysis e-mail sent to the specified users will contain the following hyperlinks depending on the settings configured in the SetNotifications.xml:
  • Exception Browser
  • Business Process Exception Report
  • Exception Browser and Business Process Exception

For more details, refer to Infor Risk & Compliance Platform - Configuration Settings document.

Emails indicating successful analysis will also be sent if:
  • The email address is specified on the Rule Books Actions tab.
  • The email address is specified on the rules creation page.
  • The analyzed rule books and rules cause violations or generate exceptions. If a rule book or a rule does not cause any violations or generate exceptions, no email will be sent out.
Note: If an analysis relevant to the Procure-to-Pay/General Ledger Insight for Lawson fails, an error is displayed in the YYYYMMDD_GenericRules.log file. The YYYYMMDD refers to the date when the analysis failed.
  • If an analysis relevant to Authorizations Insight for SAP fails, an email notification is sent to a list of recipients (email IDs) specified in the SAPAIAnalysisNotificationSettings.xml. For details, refer to the SAP - Configuration Settings Guide .
  • If an analysis for the Configuration Insight fails with the SQL error 'Error while partitioning' displayed in the YYYYMMDD_GenericRules.log file, contact Infor Professional Services.
Note:  The b040702b-e1be-45e3-a8e1-428c93af0bf6_TaskHooks.xml file is used to update the number of Authorization Insight analyses against which the User Activity Insight data is analyzed after extraction. This setting can be configured. For details, refer to the Infor Risk & Compliance - Configuration Settings Guide .
