Creating SKUs for a trim

A stockkeeping unit (SKU) is a unique identifier for each of the distinct products that you can order from a supplier. An SKU is used to identify a specific product among a list of products. You can create a trim record, attach SKU drivers, such as colors, sizes, and characteristics, and generate SKUs.

The SKU window lists the available SKU drivers and the corresponding details of a record:
  • Included
  • ERP SKU Number
    Note: This field supports a maximum value of 25 characters.
  • Interface Item Number
  • Color Code
  • Color Name
  • Color Description
  • Colorway Status
  • Color Status
  • Size Range
  • Size Code
  • Size Name
  • Size Description

The SKU details are read-only.

Note: To attach characteristics as an SKU driver to a trim, you must open the Characteristics pane for the trim record and select Yes in the SKU Driver column.
Note: The Trim List Page includes three SKU-related columns: Total SKU Count, Integrated SKU Count, and Integration Status. Total SKU Count shows the No. of SKUs value from the SKU modal. Integrated SKU Count and Integration Status show values from the Integration submodule.

  1. On the trim grid page, right-click a trim record and select SKU.

    In the SKU page, the Name, No. of SKUs, and Status are the initial details displayed for the selected record.

  2. Select Include All or Exclude All from the SKU window toolbar to include or exclude all SKUs.
  3. Optionally, to include or exclude specific SKUs, click the Include column of the corresponding items.
  4. Optionally, to sort the items from the list, click Up and Down from the column headers. You can also freeze the panes or group the items based from a specific column detail.
  5. Click Save and Close or press Alt + V.
  6. Optionally, to refresh the SKU window and item list, click Refresh or press Alt + R.
