Assigning POMs to a grade rule

  1. Open a grade rule details page.
  2. On the Point of Measure section, click Add Points of Measure.

    The Point of Measure (POM) library is displayed in the action pane and filtered by Brand, Division, and Gender. Only POMs that are relevant to the current working context are displayed.

  3. Select POMs and click Add.
    Note: If you add a POM that has a different product category from the product category of the grade rule, a message is displayed on the page to confirm the action.
  4. Specify POM information:
    Seq
    Specify the sequence number of the POM. Numbering is initially automatic upon creation, but you can freely update sequence number.
    Priority
    Select a priority.

    This list shows how each priority affects POMs:

    • Critical and Default POMs are initially included on the measurement tab of a style with mandatory POMs when the grade rule is added to a product. Critical and Default POMs can be edited and removed.
    • Mandatory POMs must be on every product that uses the grade rule and are locked on the measurement tab. Mandatory POMs cannot be removed from the grade rule.
    • Optional POMs are editable and can be removed from the grade rule.
    Zero/TBD
    Select a display option for zero values on this POM. The options are Default, Confirmed Zero, and TBD.

    Part
    Select a part for the POM.
    Tol ±
    Specify a numeric value to indicate the tolerance level of the gradings. The number of tolerance columns depends on the tolerance format you select for the grade rule.
    Standard Increment
    Specify a standard increment value that can be applied to all size columns on the selected lines except for the sample size column.
    Note: You can only indicate a positive value in the Standard Increment column.
    Size
    Provide size values. The number of size columns displayed in the Grade Rule table depends on the size range that you specify in the grade rule details.
  5. Click Save or Save and Close
