BOO line copy behavior
When you copy BOO lines from other styles, the system copies specific fields, assigns new sequence numbers, and enforces certain restrictions.
Fields included in copied BOO lines
These fields are copied from the source BOO line to the target:
- Operation List Name
- Seq
- Placement
- Code
- Name
- Description
- Image
- Operation Type
- Operation Group
- Number
- SAM
- Hourly Rate
- Hourly Rate Currency
- Efficiency #
- Status
- SPI
- Seam Allowance
- Free Field 1
- UDF 1
- Skills
- Setup Time
- Man/Machine
Source-specific metadata is not copied. Copied lines receive new auto-assigned sequence numbers.
Duplicate operation codes in copied BOO lines
A copied operation code can match an existing code in the target Style BOO. In that case, the line is added as a new entry with a new sequence number. No conflict blocking occurs.
Restrictions for copying BOO lines
This list shows the limitations of copying BOO lines:
- You cannot copy BOO lines across tenants.
- You cannot copy lines from a Style BOM to a Style BOO.
- You cannot maintain a live link between copied lines and their source. Changes to the source after copying are not propagated.
- You cannot bulk copy from multiple source Style BOOs in a single operation.
