Configuring the card layout on the Style Colorway Board

You can customize which fields are displayed on Style Colorway Board cards. Use the Card View Editor to create layouts with fields from Style Overview, Style Colorways, and Style Care & Content sources.

Before you can create or edit card layouts, you must have Create or Update permission on the Styles entity.

Creating a card layout

  1. Open the Style Colorway Board.
    See Accessing the Style Colorway Board.
  2. Click the Card View Layout list on the toolbar.
  3. Select Create New Card Layout.
    The Card View Editor is displayed. The editor shows a grid canvas and a Field Drawer panel.
  4. Specify a name for the layout in the View Name field.
  5. On the General section, specify this information:
    Make this view public
    Select this check box to publish and share the layout for all users with the View permission.
    Grid Columns
    Specify the maximum columns available in the card layout.
    Grid Rows
    Specify the maximum rows available in the card layout.
    Column Gap
    Specify the pixel gap between columns.
    Row Gap
    Specify the pixel gap between rows.
  6. On the Fields section, search or browse for the fields to add. Fields are grouped by source: Style Overview, Style Colorways, and Style Care & Content.
    Note: Fields are color-coded by source in the Fields section. Blue indicates Style Colorways fields. Amber indicates Style Overview fields. The source colors are not applied to the card canvas. You must set background and font colors manually in the Field Properties section.
  7. Drag a field from the Field section into the canvas.
    Note: If a card layout contains fields not available to your role, a message indicates the unavailable fields. Unavailable fields are not displayed on the cards. The fields remain in the layout as a reference to preserve the layout structure. In the editor, unavailable fields are displayed as not available.
  8. Drag fields on the canvas to reposition them.
  9. Optionally, click a field on the canvas to modify its properties on Field Properties section. You can configure background color, font color, alignment, font weight, and font size.
  10. Click SAVE.
    The new card layout is created and is loaded as the active layout on the Style Colorway Board.
    Note: You can create a maximum of 50 card layout presets. Additionally, card layout presets and personalization presets are independent. Card layout presets save the field placement. Personalization presets save your grouping, advanced filter, and sorting settings. When you save a new personalization preset, it is automatically loaded as the active preset.

Editing a card layout

  1. Click the Card View Layout list on the toolbar.
  2. Select More actions on the layout to edit.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Optionally, specify a new name in the View Name field.
  5. Optionally, specify new layout settings on the General section.
  6. Add, remove, or reposition fields on the canvas.
  7. Click UPDATE.
    The updated layout is applied to the Style Colorway Board.

Copying a card layout

  1. Click the Card View Layout list on the toolbar.
  2. Select More actions on the layout to copy.
  3. Click Copy.
    The copied layout is created and is available in the Manage Card Layout list.

Deleting a card layout

  1. Click the Card View Layout list on the toolbar.
  2. Select More actions on the layout to delete.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Click YES.
    The layout is removed from the Manage Card Layout list.

Adding a shared card layout to your list

  1. Click the Card View Layout list on the toolbar.
  2. Click Manage Card Layouts.
  3. On the Manage Card Layouts window, click Add to Shared Views on the layout.
    The shared layout is displayed in your Card View Layout list under Shared Card Layouts.
