Integration of style carryovers
You can integrate style carryovers from the Infor PLM for Fashion application to the M3 Cloud system.
The style carryovers to M3 Cloud enables these integrations:
- A Style Carryover with the same Style number can send updates to the same M3 Item connected to the parent Style.
- You can update on M3 Cloud the introduction season field or CFI1 when sending the carried over style.
- You can integrate newly added colors of the carried over style to M3 Cloud.
- You can generate M3 Alias numbers for the carried over SKU’s on the carried over style.
All updates to the M3 Cloud item are sent from the Style being updated and has the same integration status defined in the integration settings. The source is either the parent style, the original style, or any of the carryover styles.
If the updates that are integrated to M3 should come from the latest carryover style, you must ensure that the style being updated is the correct carryover style record.
The integration between Infor PLM for Fashion application and M3 Cloud style carryovers considers these conditions:
- To generate aliases for carryover SKUs that have been integrated, for the current season of the carryover style, you must open the SKU modal of the style record and then click .
- Carryover SKUs are integrated for alias generation individually and may take some time to complete if several SKUs are integrated for multiple carryover styles. You must closely monitor the processing in the background task.
- After an SKU for a carryover color has been successfully integrated, that SKU is no longer processed for integration when you click in the SKU modal.
- For style carryovers whose source is an integrated style or style carryover, you can delete carryover colors even when the style has SKUs. The SKUs must not yet be integrated, so the integration status is blank. A confirmation message is displayed before the deletion.
- When you delete a carryover color, the SKUs with those colorways are removed from the style SKUs, and no BOD is processed.
- You cannot exclude SKUs while integration is ongoing.
- You can exclude integrated SKUs with an ERP code, but the ERP code and Item Interface Number are not deleted.
- The Integration Status field shows the integration status of an SKU.
