Flex query view for partners
Data filtering is applied to ensure partner users see the data relevant to their supplier organization. The filtering is reflected in query results, Excel exports, and generated reports.
Visible records
Partner users can see Style, Material, and Trim records shared to them through the Share to Partner function. Shared records are displayed in flex query view results.
In the Style Details page, partner users can see in the Partner pane the supplier details to which they belong.
Visible details within a record
When a partner user runs a flex query view query containing supplier-specific fields, the system filters result rows. The system returns sub-records matching the partner user's assigned supplier entity.
The filtering applies across Style, Material, and Trim entity flex query view queries.
The filtered areas per entity are:
- Style: Overview, BOM, Compliance, Costing, Measurements, Request
- Material: Overview, Compliance, Request
- Trim: Overview, Compliance, Request
For example, a Style record can be shared with multiple partners. A partner user querying BOM fields sees the BOM rows associated with their own supplier.
The filtering applies to partner users. Internal user queries are not affected.
Integration infocluster restrictions
Integration infocluster fields are hidden from partner users. Partner users cannot access Integration fields in the column chooser, advanced filter, or custom defined labels. The restriction applies to Style, Material, and Trim entities.
Request filtering
Partner users see Request records sent to or associated with their own partner entity in flex query view queries. Requests associated with other partners are not visible.
Flex query view sharing
Partner administrators can share flex query view records with partner users belonging to the same supplier organization.
Permissions
The preferred main supplier field in flex query view should be blank if the partner user's supplier is not set as the preferred supplier.
Partner users must have the flex query view permission.
