Color management
The color story often defines a collection identity before the first sketch. Merchandisers and designers spend time aligning on a palette. They decide which shades carry over, which shades are new, and what the main colors are for each division or channel. Without a shared system, the conversation occurs in spreadsheets, PDF swatches, and email threads that quickly fall out of sync.
Color management in PLM for Fashion gives each team member a single, live view of the colors for the season. A merchandiser defines the palette once. The palette can include solid colors, combination colors, or print references. The rest of the business uses the palette. When a color is updated, you can push the change to all products that use the color.
You can add colors to the colors library and you can also add information such as color family, shade, and pantone number.
